Atmanspacher Harald
 
Harald Atmanspacher received a PhD in physics at LMU Munich in 1986 and worked as a research scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics at Garching until 1998. Then he served as head of the theory group at the Institute for Frontier Areas of Psychology at Freiburg. From 2007-2016 he was associate fellow at Collegium Helveticum (University Zurich and ETH Zurich), where he is now a member of its executive staff.
Harald Atmanspacher has been teaching at Heidelberg University, LMU Munich, TU Munich, UT Austin, Freiburg University, ETH Zurich, and held lecture courses for various extra-academic institutions. From 1989 to 2009 he served in the selection committee of the German Academic Fellowship Foundation. He is a board member of the Critical Thinking Initiative at ETH Zurich and of its Turing Center, and a board member of the Center for Contextuality Across Disciplines at Purdue University. Since 2004 he belongs to the faculty of the Jung Institute Zurich and in 2016 he was elected honorary member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology.
His publications include 15 books, about 200 scientific papers, and various special journal issues. He has organized more than 50 international workshops and conferences. Since 2012, he is the president of the Society for Mind-Matter Research and editor-in-chief of the interdisciplinary international journal Mind and Matter.

Fountoulakis
Konstantinos
 
Konstantinos N. Fountoulakis, MD, is Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, AHEPA University Hospital. Dr. Fountoulakis received his medical degree (1989), performed his residency in psychiatry (1998), and earned his doctorate in psychiatry (1999) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He received a 3-year fellowship in psychosomatic medicine and a 1-year postdoctoral fellowship for research from the State Scholarships Foundation of Greece. Until 2003 he served as a medical officer in the Greek Armed forces retired with the rank of major. In 2005, Dr. Fountoulakis was a Research Fellow in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Neuropsychiatry, at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. He has coauthored more than 400 papers (200 of them are published in international journals such as the LANCET, BMJ, Am J Psychiatry, British Journal of Psychiatry, Biological Psychiatry, International Journal of Neuropsychopharmacology, Journal of Affective Disorders, Schizophrenia Research, Psychiatry Research, Bipolar Disorders, and the Annals of General Psychiatry), with over 5700 citations and h=40. He authored or co-authored a number of chapters in books including the Mood disorders chapter for the Wiki project of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA). He has authored the book ‘Bipolar disorders: An Evidence-Based Guide to Manic Depression’ (Springer-Verlag, 2015)
He chairs the ISNP and since 2006, he served as Secretary, since 2008 as co-chair, and currently as Chair of the Private Practice Section and also currently is chair of the section of Evidence Based Psychiatry, of the World Psychiatric Association. He served as Chair of the CINP Credentials and Membership Committee (2010-2) and currently he chairs the Neuropsychological and Psychometric Instruments Section, of the Greek Psychiatric Association. He is an active member of a number of national and international professional organizations, including the EPA, APA, WPA, CINP, ECNP, ISAD, ISBD, EBF and others, peer referee for the Cochrane Collaboration and member of the International College of Neuropsychopharmacology (CINP) Advisory Board to the Task Force on the Usefulness of Antidepressants and the Mental Health Economics Task Force of the International Psychogeriatric Association (IPA). Dr. Fountoulakis is Editor in Chief of Annals of General Psychiatry and served as Section Editor of Current Opinion in Psychiatry as well as guest editor in other international journals. Prof. Fountoulakis has served in several National and International Comittees and has received a number of national and international research awards and honorary distinctions

Hasanagas Nikolaos
 
 
Dr. Nikolaos Hasanagas is the Head of the Forest Office at Pertouli, Aristotle University Forest Administration, Greece.  Dr. Hasanagas  holds 2 Master Degrees one on Forest science and natural environment, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the other on Social Sciences from the University of Goettingen, Germany. He obtained his PhD on “Power factor typology through organizational and network analysis. (Using environmental policy networks as an illustration) from the University of Goettingen, Germany. Dr. Hasanagas has published several papers on Social Network Analysis.

Intzesiloglou Nikolaos
 
Nikolaos Intzesiloglou is Professor  in  the  Law  Faculty  of  the  Aristotle  University  of Thessaloniki and Lawyer Emeritus  (since  Mars  2009). He graduated from the Faculty of Law of Aristotle University (Thessaloniki) in 1972.  His Postgraduate  studies include DEA  (Diplôme  d'études  approfondies) in «Sociologie du Droit» from the Université de Droit, d' Économie et de Sciences Sociales de Paris (Paris 2) in 1976, DEA “on  Droit Européen”  from the University of Paris 2 in 1977, DEA on “Sociologie in 1979, DEA on “Etudes Politiques” in 1980, Doctorat  d'  Etat  en  Droit",  awarded  best Doctoral  Thesis  in  1980 (Picard  prize) from the Université  de  Droit,  d'  Économie  et  de  Sciences Sociales  de  Paris (Paris  2) with title:  "The  contribution  of  systems  analysis  in  the field  of  Law" in 1980. Prof. Intzesiloglou obtained several fellowships and has taught in several European Universities. His courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels include: "Sociology of Law", "Law and electronic technology", "Economic analysis of Law and Institutions", "Institutions of European peoples", "Society and New Technologies", "Legal Theory", "System Theory and Legal Science", "Sociology  of  Mass  Media", "Science  of Communication and Techniques of Persuasion: Rhetoric, Public Opinion and Propaganda", "Law and Information", "Introduction to Sociology", "General Sociology". Professor  Intzesiloglou has published several books and research papers, has coordinated or participated in many European and international Programs, has contributed in International and National Conferences and Workshops and is very active in social media. Moreover, he has served in several committees, has been elected Head of the Department of "History, Philosophy and Sociology of Law" at the Faculty of Law and Dean  of  the  "School  of  Legal,  Economic  and  Political  Sciences"  of  the Aristotle University of Thessalonica.

Klados Manousos
 
Manousos Klados has BSc in Mathematics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), and a MSc and PhD in Medical Informatics at the Medical School of the same university. Now he is serving as a postdoctoral researcher in  the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences where he received a funded scholarship. From a methodological perspective, my main research interests are based mostly on human connectivity, where I am currently investigating the connectivity phenotypes of personality using fMRI. I am also interested in graph theoretical modeling of human's brain, as well as the modulation introduced in brain networks either by affective and/or cognitive stimuli or under pathological circumstances. During his career he has received several funded scholarships and awards, while until now he has worked in many EU funded research projects and he has coordinated a national one. He has organized three international conferences and participated in over 20 international conferences with peer reviewed proceedings. He has published over 18 journal papers and almost 20 international proceedings papers having a h-index=10

Dr Fotis Loukos is working for the Computing Infrastructure and Systems Administration Department of the IT Center of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki where he focuses on Network and Information Security. He is the PKI Administrator of the Hellenic Academic and Research Institutions Certification Authority (HARICA), a Certification Services Provider included in most major Root CA programs (Mozilla, Microsoft, Apple) and in the EU TSL. He is also an external contractor for the European Network Information Security Agency (ENISA). He holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Department of Mathematics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a Master of Science in Computer and Communications Engineering from the Department of Computer and Communications Engineering of the University of Thessaly and a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the Department of Informatics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, and he has been member on the Technical Program Committee for many International Conferences. In the past, he has designed Episodes for Greek National Cyber-Defense Exercise “Panoptis 2015” and for the paneuropean Cyber Security Exercise “Cyber Europe 2016”. He is a member of the CA/B Forum and the Usenix Association.

Metakides George
 
Prof. Metakides received as a Fulbright scholar a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematical Logic from Cornell University in 1971. He pursued an academic career in the U.S.A. at MIT, Cornell University and Rochester University until 1978, when he returned to Greece to take the Chair of Logic at the University of Patras. He has published numerous articles and books in the areas of Mathematical Logic, Computer Science and Science Policy and is a frequent invited speaker at major international conferences. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, the Technical University of Bucharest and the University of Thessaloniki and is an honorary professor of the University of Moscow. He is a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and an honorary member of the Romanian Academy of Science. He has received the Medal of Honour of the Bulgarian Academy of Science, the Polish Information Society Recognition Award, for his efforts to build co-operation between IT professionals in Poland and the EU, and the Telecom Europe Prize Salvà I Campillo for his contribution to the development and dissemination of new information and communication technologies in Europe.
 
Since 1984 he has held senior positions with responsibility for R&D policy, funding and international co-operation in European institutions, including president of the Research Group of the European Council and member of the ESPRIT (European Strategic Programme of Research in Information Technology) Management Committee and of the NATO Science Committee at different times between 1984 and 1987. He established and headed the department for Basic Research and International Scientific Relations in Information Technologies at the European Commission from 1988 to 1993. He was the director of the 2 billion Euro ESPRIT Programme in the European Commission’s Industry Directorate General from 1993 until its completion in 1998.
 
Until November 2002 he was director of Essential Technologies and Infrastructures in Europe’s 4 billion Euro Information Society Technologies (IST) Programme (1998-2002), in the Information Society Directorate General which - besides funding and co-ordinating R&D in information and communication technologies in the European Union - also covers information society and telecommunications policy and regulation. He is an active contributor to the promotion of co-operation between the European Union and other regions. He has instigated the establishment of research agreements between the EU and the USA (including the launch of the World Wide Web Consortium, W3C, and a joint initiative on the dependability of critical infrastructures). In addition to collaborative activities with Japan, China, Russia and the countries of Latin America, he leads a number of joint actions in Central & Eastern Europe as well as the Balkan and Mediterranean regions. As a co-founder of Digital Enlightenment Forum he serves as president since its start.

Moyssiadis Theodoros
 
Dr Theodoros Moysiadis received his B.Sc. in Mathematics at the School of Mathematics (SoM), Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece in 2003. He holds a M.Sc. (2005) and a Ph.D (2010) in Statistical and Operational Research, SoM, AUTH. His PhD dissertation concerned the study of time series and systems with non-homogeneous high-order Markov Chains. During his studies he received several scholarships for excellent performance, including a 3-year Scholarship from the National Scholarships Constitution (national exams) and the “Excellence” Scholarship from the AUTH Research Committee, both for PhD research. He provided in parallel supportive teaching for the SoM, AUTH in many different courses during 2004-2010. In 2011 he assumed the position of Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics in the University of Cyprus in Nicosia. He has worked as a Visiting Lecturer for three consecutive years. In 2014 he moved back to Thessaloniki, where he assumed a postdoc position in the Institute of Applied Biosciences, in the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH). He has published more than 15 papers in the field of theoretical and applied statistics in international peer-reviewed journals and conferences proceedings and is reviewer for many international peer-reviewed journals.
